2003 Tl Subwoofer Performance

I have the OEM Bose system and it just seems like the subwoofer is so weak. Would it be enhanced with a box? Any other suggestions. I'm not looking for anything extreme, just a little richer sound.

I personally don't think that a box would make it sound any better. Many of us have just removed it and upgraded to aftermarket subwoofers

Yes, i had an aftermarket amp and sub with my stock headunit before i upgraded. It did the trick! and i would have kept the stock headunit if it played CD-R's hahaha

The 99-01 Head units had problems playing CD-R's but the newer 02-03 6-disk In-Dash Changer Headunits can play CD-R's w/out a problem

Yeah the sub workes quite well with the stock deck. Sound Quality will obviously not be as good as with an aftermarket deck, but it does the job nicely!
