2003 TL S-Type Radio Reset

Radio would not unlock after changing battery. After reviewing many threads, I was able to follow the advice about getting away from radio signals. Living in South Florida, I was not able to go to an underground garage. So I tried regular parking garages, trying to block myself in with as much concrete as possible. The third garage I tried worked like a charm.

The key is to get away from that darn FM radio signal so your car will simply accept the code.

Does anyone have a simpler way to do this?

pull panels off from drivers side to reach behind radio and pop out antenna cable, put in code, reconnect antenna cable. thats how i always do it and it works like a charm.
