so my main remote on the viper 5901 remote recently ran out of battery and went completely dead, i recharged it and now it wont function at all, but my spare remote works just fine, i tried to unplug the battery to see if it resets, i also turned the remote off then back on but no help, anyone have any ideas?

Try pairing the remotes again.

 

^^^+1 yes try this... i bet when the remote died, it lost it's sync with the brain... so you may just have to resync it...
