Installing Component tweeter into the stock location ....

Is this hard to do on the 1st gen? Any tips? I am still shopping for the components so does anyone have any suggestions on what 6.5 componet speakers will fit in the doors and dash?

 

I just got CDT 61.s for cheap mounting depth am 3 " (that’s a lot)
I did not install it yet but I think I will have to use a spacer

For Tweeters I think it's easier they just pop up and you can install some AM tweeters

installed CDT CL 61s with xtant 4004t amp
they fit right in if you take that black plastic from the magnets
they sound very nice with good sound stage
