1999 Acura TL wiring questions for sub hook up....

I was going through my engine bay and also from the inside and Im having problems with wanting to get my power amp wiring from the back into the engine bay. I dont see a whole i can slip it through to get to the battery. Anyone encounter this problem and know how I can do it?

There is a small hole in the firewall of the 2nd gen CL that you can fit it through. Im not sure if the firewall is the same on the 99, but i figure it is.

There is a pic of the hole posted in a DIY somewhere around here. I'll try and find it for you.

Where exactly is that hole located? Assuming its on the drivers side where the pedals are. It looks like its where the emergency brake lever is. Am I correct?

Nope, its closer to the console side of that area, so opposite the emergency brake. The club looking thing you see is the top of either the brake or gas pedal, i dont remember. But either way, just look up inside that area and use the club as a guide to determine the relative location of the hole. I think its covered by up by the rubber shroud but there is a circular cut out indicating the hole beneath. Just poke your finger through the cutout to get to the hole and you're in.

I tried to get though the hole also. It is above the gas padal. I could not force the wire through. I ended up going though the window wiring for the driver door. Then I taped up the areas that would not fit with the power supply running through.
