Does anyone know how to uninstall the factory radio on a 2.3CL 5-speed with the woodtrim (if that makes a difference)? I'm having trouble pulling it out, i searched and it said that you have to pull from the clock button, but that doesn't seem to do it, it feels like it's going to break. Any other suggestions or does anyone have a diagram i could use?

its a little more complicated then that, but you can do it. takes like 15 minutes tops.
1) open the center console and pull out the black felt cd holder, remove those 2 screws found underneath

2) pull out the cup holders, remove the 3 screws found underneath

3) pull out the ashtray remvoe the two screws found there

4) pop the wood trim around the shifter and the upper clock area BE CAREFUL

5) before you can remove the whole center peice you must unplug the clock, the hazard light, and one more plug. then the whole thing comes free and you remove the headunit with the attached storage unit.
