1997 TL, question on tweeters and midrange

I purchased an aftermarket headunit a while back, it sounds great but I only have 4 speakers hooked up. The tweeters and midrange speakers (4 total) have their own plug which obviously doesn't go into the aftermarket head.

My question is this: Can I use male/female T Tap connectors? Anything else I need to worry about? I know HOW to do it, I just need to know if it'll work.

I do not want to blow up anything, so please only answer if you are sure.

I'm not sure about it, but I believe if you did that, the connection where the t is connected from the amp would have some type of odd independence (ohm) when connected to the other tweeters/speakers. I don't think it's very safe. I'd go the extra mile and get
