TL: 07 type s navi to 04 base navi

07 type s navi to 04 base navi
i have a 2004 base tl with no navi disk so i cant do anythign with the navi disk... i took a navi disk from a 2007 tl type s and it didnt work. so what im wondering now is what if i swap the dvd drive from the trunk would that work ?
