Step 1.
is just getting my ipod playing.
I am going to be using the HK Drive+Play (for the interface) and the BlitzSafe HON/AUX DMX V.2X for the Aux in connection to stock radio.

I have a similar setup already in my wife's 2006 accord ex, non nav with 6-disc changer.

Step 2.
Later on I would like to add Video input to the Nav screen.
1 of the inputs I would like to come out of the brain of the Drive+Play to an input on the nav screen to display the ipod interface there instead of on the Drive+Play screen.
I was looking at the Soundgate VidHon2. Lowest price I found on this unit is around $258. Kind of expensive just to switch to the nav screen. So here lies the question. Is this a good solution? what options would I have and what would be more cost effective. I had originally considered dice for the audio part with text, but saw that it would not work on my car because I do not have a stereo that is capable of displaying the text (2004 and not XM)

So in theory I think the drive+play brain to the nav screen should be able to display the ipod interface, I would still be using the drive-play remote though. Any other ideas? Am I over complicating this?
