'04 TL - does anyone know how to ...

Greetings.
I got my TL a little less than a month ago, and I love it.
(automatic, non-nav, black/ebony).

I want to plug in my iPod to the stereo system like I did in my old car.
After doing some research, I found a device that plugs into the back of the stock stereo and supplies a stereo AUX input.
The Soundgate SNHOND3 converter thingy.
I ordered it, and it came in recently. Now I need to install it.

I have searched and searched, on this forum and others, and I can't seem to find a decent, clearly detailed set of instructions specific to the '04 TL on how to get to the stereo.
I don't want to mangle my new car by using trial and error.
I'm hoping it will be as easy as the instructions for the '03 Accord - just remove the storage compartment beneath the stereo and plug in the device.
But I can't seem to pull that out, and I don't want to break anything trying.

Can anyone help me, or at least point me in the right direction?
I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

I'd love to find out how to do it myself, but nobody seems to know how. Or they're just not sharing.

To tell the truth, I'm getting pretty close to giving up and just take it to a pro car audio place. If I don't find out how to get in there within a week or so, I'm afraid my impatience will get the better of me.

Well, I have an '02 so I can't tell you how to get in, but I can tell you how to find out: buy the service manual. Its about $120 (assuming they kept the price the same as the '99-'03 version), and contains blow by blow instructions and pictures for doing just about anything on the car, including removing the radio.

Unfortunately, I don't know where to get it -- maybe somebody else can chime in.
