I'm still waiting on my car, but planning the stereo upgrade.

I'm wondering about how the center channel functions.

First, do I understand that the NAVI voice comes from the center channel only?

Second, when playing a standard CD or FM/XM (stereo), is there any music played through the center channel? In other words, I'm assuming that what comes through the center channel is the NAVI voice and DVDa and nothing else?

Music also comes through the center speaker when playing standard CD's or XM radio (never listen to FM anymore!)

Ugghhh, more processing screwing things up. I was hoping that steero recordings would come out in stereo. Silly me.
