03 TL-S Replacement Sail Panels & Weatherstrip
Hello all,
I need some help with getting some replacement parts for my 03' TL-S NBP. I did my stereo install myself and because I'm not mechanically inclined (I'm a software engineer) I did a pretty shoddy job. I'm gonna have my friend redo everything with me and since he does audio installs on the side, he'll be much better at this then I am, but I would like to fix the mistakes I make when I tried to give it a go.
Problem 1:
I completely removed the weatherstrip on both doors during my installation of my speakers and I'm worried that rain or water is causing damage to the inside of my door and/or speakers.
The plastic sheet is what I need, I found what I think are the required parts on this website (here) but I'm unsure as to the exact parts I need. I would like to get my speakers set up the way I want before sealing it up again, is this something that the dealer can do?
Also, I was also looking into getting Dynamat installed on the door panels, would that be a sufficient enough substitute for the weatherstrip? Or do I need both?
Problem 2:
Not so much a problem, but I need replacement Sail Panels for the driver and passenger side doors. I also found them on the OEM site, but I'm also unsure if I chose the right parts for what I need. I think I need parts 5, 10, & 17 from this page. Is that right?
