03 TL-S Complete Sound Overhaul

Hey everyone

Im upgrading the complete sound system in my 2003 TL-S W/ NAVI and i wanted to know where the non amplified - eq'd wires meet for the speakers in the car. I know that in the Bose setup the speakers are ed'd and amped.

Im planning on replacing ALL speakers but i dont want to run all new wires, i would rather go from the head unit / harness and just extend the wiring to a mutual location where the wires meet if possible.

Maybe im thinking to hard about this so i am open to suggestions but the set up needs to bypass any Bose amps or EQ'S

Installing

Pioneer DEH-P9800BT - (Only for the Bluetooth)
Pioneer 6'5 door speakers or Infinity Reference Components
Removing Stock Subwoofer completely

OR

Would it be a better idea to install the Pioneer HU and run 3 amps to the trunk and wire from there. It seems just as difficult. I am straying away from stripping the whole interior to re-wire everything and wire work is not my strong point.

Anything would be appreciated and i will try to turn this into a DIY with pics and such.

In general if you have 3 amps, you'd probably better off mounting them all in the trunk. The wire work install isn't all that difficult, the hardest part is gettting the powerlines for the amps through the firewall and routed properly. The rest is easy, but time consuming.

For you're intieror speakers, I'd personally go with the Infinity's. (actually, I'd go with Boston Z6's, but those are super expensive)

What are you planning on using to replace the Bose sub?

I planned on using Alpine Type R 12's With an alpine or Kicker Monoblock amp. Either the ZX1000 kicker amp or the 1000 Watt alpine amp. i would like to spend less but im afraid of buying off brand amps. My sub budget is $350 give or take a few bucks

As far as the components i would love to run them off of the head unit but i might be shortchanging myself. Or i might just do 6.5's for the interior off the head unit. i was primarily worried about the wiring, i want it to be hidden like stock.

Thanks Again for the info

Don't be too worries about the wiring, run everything along the existing wiring channels under the carpet next to the door frames. You have to remove the bottom door frame covers/liners to get at it, but that's litterally a 5min job to do.
