02 tl bose speakers.

Alright guys I finally want to go at fixing this problem:

3/4 speakers aren't producing sound- Front driver and both rear speakers
Speakers are NOT blown
Speakers themselves are NOT the actual problem

Front passenger is the only side that can produce sound. I swapped the other speakers in and they work there but the non operating sides would still produce no sound when swapped.

Any way of trouble shooting or fixing this?

Are you still using the factory radio? It sounds like a defective amplifier (built into the radio)

The whole system is still factory. and amp is located behind the seats.

The amp behind the rear seat powers your rear deck subwoofer only. The door speakers are powered by the head unit.

-_- this is such shit.
Question!
Is the 6 cd changer better or should I stick with the single CD player that my car already came with? I noticed the buttons are different and the bass and treble control isn't on the 6cd changer.

I couldn't tell you for sure, but I imagine if they are both CD players the amplifier circuitry will be the same as far as sound quality is concerned. If you listen to CDs a lot then going to a 6 cd stacker would be for you. If not, get whatever. IMO at this point you're better off just replacing the factory system with an aftermarket system. It will give you more options as far as inputs and sound shaping are concerned. It would probably be more cost effective to get an aftermarket radio

Well this sucks then I didn't really want to change it. :/

I've never had any experiences swapping out a radio, but I am quick to learn. As far as wiring goes are aftermarket radios pnp? even with stock speakers and sub?

Also any mid grade quality radios you'd recommend?

Changing the radio is more of a job in the tl than in other cars, but it's not too bad. Aftermarket radios aren't plug and play, but you can get an adapter harness. If you buy your radio from crutchfield.com you'll get the faceplate and wiring harness you need included along with detailed instructions on installing your new radio.

Yeah, just went with stock since I got it for free.
It fixed my problem, but eventually both rear speakers went out again, so I am still bumping on two speakers, lol.

It's a fairly simple job. If you go aftermarket, I am sure it's not hard if it comes with instructions.
