Since my car is sitting in my back yard waiting for me to take it to a shop and get it repaired from the wreck i thought might as well tweak up the system. I currently have a eclipse avn5510 indash, polk db5251 components in all four doors. 2 12 inch fosgate p3s pushed by a 500 mono fosgate amp. I have a infinity amp to the components. I get engine noise and a humming sound from speakers. Ive read about the big 3 and plan on doing that and rewiring everything basically. Rerunning rca thru sides instead of middle etc. Now i want to know with all the talk going on i currently have 4 gauge to the system. Would it be wise to do the big 3 with 2 gauge or just do it with 4 and be happy? What are other things i should get done since i will have it open? I will be adding the iphone video rcas. Anything i can do to tweak it up? Any info is appreciated thank.
