I wanna get a new aftermarket head unit for my '00 TL. When the installer went to put in the deck...he told me he couldn't do it because my factory NAV system is hot-wired to the head unit. According to him, if I put in the new head-unit...I would totally lose power to NAV. So I said....F&@$ that!!

I need a second opinion. Are there any alternatives where I can keep the NAV and still have the new head unit.

Please help!!
