Were those fun to drive? How did they compare to current offerings? (I've read reviews but they mostly lament how not a BMW it was)

 

The Vigor was pretty nice....i'll never forget when me and my (black) friend were driving around and I said, "man what an ugly Vigor!" ( i really meant it, it had a giant bolt on wing and rust spots everywhere) He just looked at me

 

well the Vigor and Legend were both lighter than the 1G TL that replaced them... so they were much faster off the line... but the Vigor would spank my 1G 3.2TL from the weight... both AT... if the vigor was MT, i am sure that it could prob keep up with a 2G TL-P with light mods like CAI, etc...

but it was obviously great on gas and the engine was solid... i sold it at 190k miles for 3k to a family friend... after i bought it, i repainted it, changed the windshield and fixed the A/C... i only got rid of it because i was paying insurance on 2 cars and i didn't want to give up my TL... in retrospect with these gas prices, maybe i should have done the opposite... last that i saw the car i almost cried... the rear driver side door was smashed from her turning too quick before clearing the car next to her... and the front bumper was fucked from a slight rear ending... i was literally like 'my car NOOOO!!!'...

but there is a 5spd red vigor that sits in the lot of my fiance's apt complex... i am contemplating putting a note asking if they would be interested in selling the car...

Yup. I have yet to catch a show of his. On his last few times through town, the tickets to his show sell out like hotcakes.
