Man you got real lucky. Wasn't it just a couple months ago you had a scare or something, big speeding ticket or something? You better go to church.............and you should have bought a GSXR instead of a POS Katana!

I'm glad to see you aren't dead. Life is a fragile thing that must be respected at all times. I hope they have you on Percocet at the minimum. Hope you have a speedy recovery.

2001 Honda CBR 929 RR. About 30k miles on it. I was having compression problems, but did an oil change and it was running fine. I dont know what could have caused the engine situation. It could be that it was just its time. 30K on a bike is like 150K on a car. And sometimes motors are just ready to go it seems. Especially those engines, which are constantly high revving and what not.

Glad you are alive with only minor injuries man, that shit sounded pretty crazy, good job keeping your head and minimizing the damage to yourself and the people around you.

I'm kinda late, but I for one am glad to see this kind of post instead of someone else telling me we lost a respected member. Keep your head up and thank the Big Dawg up there while you're at it.

Maybe it's a sign from God that you should enter the priesthood......
Congrats on being alive, but seriously, yes, it is a sign that you should take it easy for awhile.

Man thats a wild story. This is the reason why I would never get a bike, nor ride one. It's not a matter if you are going to spill, it's when. People that ride bikes are semi-stupid IMO, just like people who smoke. Hope you fully recover man

One of my dad's friends ran into a pole on his bike, went flying, and smacked his frank and beans on the handle bar. He's on a tube for the rest of his life.
Glad to hear that you are alive. I hope that you have a speedy recovery.
To be honest, a couple of my friends had sweet bikes, and I wanted one so bad. But after seeing them wipe out a few times and getting hurt and selling their bikes, I changed my mind quickly.
Did any of you guys read the story about the rider on a bike forum? Some pick-up truck ran him off the road and he was all fucked up. Like a week later, he committed suicided from depression, leaving his 7 year-old son all by himself. It was horrible. I'm glad that we're hearing this from you, and not from your friends or family members announcing a funeral date. You're blessed. Good luck.
