Yea, thats just stupid.

I was at a Police Station working once and a guy came in and said his wifes boyfriend cut him (it was a small cut). The cops were laughing too hard to file a report.

why is it illegal to carry closed bottles in the cabin of the car? i understand open bottles, but whats the issue with having closed bottles?

also, what if your just transporting a half drank liquor bottle. nobody throws away half a bottle of grey goose and you wouldnt want it rolling around the car so you put it on the seat or in the bottle holder. if the person isnt intoxicated then whats the issue?!?!

Not sure if it is like this everywhere, but in NJ full time police officers MUST carry a weapon at all times.

why does it always take like 10 minutes for the police to arrive on the scene of a crime? by then the thing is over. wouldnt ppl rather just take that shit into their hands? and if i did take it into my hands, why do i get in trouble???

example: if somebody is messing with my friend and i call the police and it takes to long for you to get there and i go up to him and smash his head in. why would i get in trouble!?!?!

Yeah, I've heard that you should not take the on-field breathalyzer. I've also heard that not taking the breathalyzer test results in an automatic license suspension.

It varies from state to state.

In NJ, refusing to take the test is an seen as an admission of guilt and you are charged with a DUI, case closed.

here in ca, refusal of a test means a revoked license. the thing to do is, if you are borderlne or just above dui, refuse the field tests and make them take you to the station (you'll have no choice anyway) to administer the test there. the time between the initial stop and the moment you take the test may be enough to lower the bac.

then there are a bunch of confusing laws that seem to change weekly, so we just make sure the card looks somewhat real and send them on their way, unless they're driving of course...

for the name, i was frustrated with the tl's brakes (frozen) and I was not very imaginitive at the time

you have to submit to a test, or you lose your license... and we can still force a test, like blood

it's not illegal to have closed containers here in cali.... so i dunno...

for the 1/2 bottle, it's an open container.... which means you could have access to it while driving, just put it in the trunk

because the call may not be a high priority...

saying "two guys are fighting" is not that important, we will not endanger life to get there...

saying "this guy is beating on my friend who is knocked out" will get a Code 3 light/siren response...

you would be amazed at the amount of BS calls we get nightly, where the parties have fled, never existed, or were just huffing and puffing but dont want us to do anything...
