I think it would've been fair to just delete all of the votes that were a result of people signing up just to vote, or using multiple accounts, etc. for this month, since no rules were drafted.

Considering the fact that all the other sections/forums on AcuraZine have rules and regulations, COTM should be no different, and something should be drafted as soon as possible.

Just glad to see that everything is being handled responsible and in a civil manner.

 

I don't believe a set of rules needs to be drafted for members to understand that cheating is not tolerated. I'm not going to go into details about this for previously mentioned reasons.

so...we need to draw up some new accts and vote for the remaining TL to have the RL win...a bit backwards...but it's a plan

 

Maybe accounts that are 6 months or older and or have over 100 or 200 posts can place a vote.

If under that...then they need to pay $10 per their vote...HAHA...and those funds could go to our In and Out fund...LOL!

 

1) Cheating as in sheer effort to win a weak contest?
2) Is it acceptable to have your girlfriend go on and on (and on) about your life story but your family and friends cannot vote for you?
3) So this contest is limited to... lifetime acuraziners? daily using acuraziners? acuraziners you think should count? If that's the case, do I count as a vote?
4) Just out of curiosity, how many votes were counted as beyond tolerable to qualify as disqualification?

There are no rules in place but only what you deem fit.

If it is pathetic and a joke to you, then you need not to participate. Leave it for the members who actually enjoy the COTM showcase.

To eliminate the need of putting what really happened in this thread, or any thread for that manner, have a chat with your friend to find out exactly what happened as he is aware of his actions which lead to his disqualification.

This issue no longer needs to be discussed in this thread as it no longer pertains to the individuals involved in the showcase. If you feel so passionately about this situation that you need to voice your opinion please do so in another thread or in the sticky thread at the top if this subforum.
