I know it does, but when you're used to using the img insert button to paste URL's, it f'ing sucks

Yea that sucks. What distro are you guys using? I've been in Mint for a while. And Valve just released CS:GO for Linux yesterday so I may end up sticking to it.

 

It's all about CS 1.6

 

OT: While I mostly want to agree, because I'm extremely good at 1.6 (5000+ hrs), GO is way more fun as a whole.

 

Yeah not a fan of the new picture upload. I will just manually use img tags then.

 

What is the chief complaint?

the 2 second load time?
The size of the upload box?

These are all very minor annoyances at worst.

Glad we can finally upload directly from the desktop.

I'm glad I got most of my work done in the maple leaf thread before the change. It just seems like too many steps to accomplish what was once more streamlined.

Next years maple leaf joke season is going to be more work.

I wish it was still popular though. But once the leagues went to Source (hated CSS) and now GO it's not worth my time.

My current ID has 3212 hours on it, which is from 2005-now. But before my first ID was stolen from me (yea, 5 DIGIT, BITCH!), it had a little over 8k hours because I by far played most in high school/college. So I'd say 11k hours.

 

Mine is 2092.

 

Pros:

1. You can upload from your PC.
2. AZ is now hosting the images you upload so less chance they'll be taken down, maybe.

Cons:

1. UI needs some work after pasting one link you have to choose from URL again to paste another, it should default to that or preferably the last used upload option (URL or PC).
2. AZ is now hosting the images you upload so all your charts and graphs now belong to Ron A.
3. New UI doesn't work well with iOS devices, hangs during upload from my iPad. Even saving image to iPad first then uploading from there instead of URL hangs.
4. It's slow
5. Won't accept an image if it doesn't end in an image extension jpg .png (hella lame). So images that like to put image resolution parameters on the end or ":large" like twitter pics do often after the extension won't work without deleting the extra stuff. Which sucks cause the :large will give you a bigger image than you would without it.

No, it's in all the forums I visit-- 3G TL, Automotive Discussion, Ramblings and all their sub-forums.

All of them show threads with no new posts from a couple of days ago as unread, although I had looked at those threads back then.
