Can the View Next Unread navigation button be enhanced to go to the next unread post in the next unread thread, instead of the top of the next unread thread? I think that would be more helpful than the current operation.

 

Thanks for the suggestion! We thought about doing that, but the concern on our end is that if you're jumped to the first unread post, you may not know the broader thread you're now in. While listing the title of the thread on the "View Next Unread" thread button itself helps to alleviate this somewhat, the number of threads with the same name is surprisingly high.

That said, once you click into the next unread thread, directly under the thread's title at the top of the page should be a link to jump to the first unread post ("View First Unread"). Clicking this will fast track you to where you left off. Hopefully this can serve as a suitable workaround.
