Subscriptions not sticking

I don't know if someone is just trolling me but my 3GR and 2GR (ramblings) threads subscriptions don't stay in the subscription folder. Thoughts @IB Jason

How quickly do you seem to be unsubscribed from the threads?

If i leave the thread, it looks like the subscription disappears. The button changes from "Subscribe" to "Subscribed" while still on the page though

Followup" other build threads seem to subscribe fine but the big Rambling threads (2G/3G TL) don't like to stick

how about the common plebe basic level mod?

I dunno.. may just be a odd correlation or a rift in the time-space continuum but it's fixed now

Still happening.
Re-added one this morning, and it was gone a few hours later.

Just checked & the most recent one I had to re-add is still there.
Seems it dropped off after I got the email alert for it.

Seems like my new subscription limit is 5... anything added after 5 gets dropped.. tempted to unsubscribe everything and re-sub... give it the ol' "turn it off and on again" approach..

Can you confirm if this is also happening to you?
If I open my subbed threads list from the quick links drop down, open a thread then post in it I'm being unsubbed from that thread.

yup confirmed! But only on specific threads

Steps to recreate: added 2G TL Ramlings to subscription.. clicked through from Quick Links to reply.. Made a reply. Go back to Quick LInks > Subscriptions, refresh screen.. Gone.

I went under 5 subs as well and it still disappeared so it's not related to the number of threads

Mine seems to happen after a reply is received on a sub'd thread.

Got an alert that there was a reply, then nothing for the next one. Sub missing from my list.

Edit: I was sub'd to this thread, got an alert for @thoiboi 's response today & am now un-sub'd from this thread. Did not get an alert for the replies after the first post today.

Firefox on desktop primarily but was using Chrome in the past and experienced the same issues. iOS and Chrome for the latter question.

I believe also set to do not subscribe.

I did notice I had a sub drop off when I posted a reply in the thread. This one: https://acurazine.com/forums/home-ga...-house-959867/

So, is this a bug, that the default sub setting is updating (setting to not subscribed) sub'd threads when you reply?

it's a bug, I think one of our updates did something such that the default subscription mode is overriding any manually added subscriptions, and so when you post in a thread you've subbed to, the sub is removed as per the default selection to not subscribe. Our tech guys have it scheduled for our next update release, not 100% sure on timing though. Thank you for your patience and assistance with this!

i was going to say, as a workaround I could change the default subscription mode but I think with my post whoring, I'll be subscribed to hundreds of threads by EOD
