That's probably better since I really don't know what time I would be able to leave. I may not even make it to the show if its too late since I would still have to drive 45 minutes to get there.

Didn't make it to Newport. I had to lead the way for my friend and his girl, so I didn't want to drag them along. By the time I got home and ate, I passed out and woke up around 6:30. The sun drained me yesterday.....

 

what did he do to slam into the bushes? ........and it was more like my keys were taken away from me

 

lol , thast the best part he didn't do anything. apparently he had the engine rpms pegged and just rolled across the street into the bushes, no brake lights or nothing.

and mike, sorry i didn't wait to have u follow me out of there, i totaly forgot since u decided not to come down to newport.

 

Judging from the smiley, I take it you didn't get jacked for your ride.

Don't know what happened.....he got in the car, started it and it was pegged to the rev limiter. Then he proceeded to coast (like 5 mph) across the street and mowed down the bushes (while on the rev limiter)......classic....highlight of the show!

 

Someone please tell me they captured this on video. Maybe I should check youtube.

Thats whats funny...it was a Corvette. There's not much ground clearance to begin with and he still managed to bottom it out on the driveway and climb the curb across the street!!! Still laughing about it......
