What class does a stock CLS or a modded CLS go into, anyway? GS & STS?

Depends on what mods. When we race the stock CLS, we do it in GS. Even if we put new struts and sways on, we could still be in GS. The requirements for each class should be on the website: http://www.scca.org/amateur/solo2/classes/index.html

Sorry, struts are legal for stock classes, but swaybars definitely aren't (unless you're removing the stock ones or putting smaller ones in).

I guess my question was if a modded CLS is allowed in STS or if it goes to ESP or something.

Actually, no, front sways ARE allowed...just not both.

True, true... if you have a car that oversteered a lot from the factory that would be the way to do it, but I'm not sure that this applies here. :p
