How far do you want to drive?

There are great body shops around Blood Enterprise, Inc. in Auburn off of Auburn Way (H-167).

I've been there for a BMW dyno day. They seemed like they were OK. It took them a bit to figure out the M3's wiring for the dyno, but they got it.

Pics are coming.......

When I was in high school I had a lot of friends who worked there and they had tons of connections. If you live close by, swing in. They are a family owned business and they would help you in the right direction.

Also check the honda/acura shop off of main st...i know they have connections cuz that's all they deal with.

Gonna have a paint booth in the warehouse. Not at the shop in Fife. It's gonna be in Port Orchard. Currently the carport gets wrapped in visqueen to paint things. I gotta paint weekend comming up soon. My Kenstyle front end, the cap for the truck,......maybe some other odds and ends. The paint does stick better in the summer.

I miss my Dubs...'99 VR6 MKIV and 1.8T MKIV(180 HP) I had the money to throw down a giant turbo kit on the 1.8T too...BUT--->I traded the VR6 for my CL...I love my CL to pieces but I miss my VR6...it didn't have all the ESL and non slip gadgets like the 1.8T did so I could do burn outs all day and not have to worry about electronics going nutty. I traded it with only 36000 miles on it =(. I traded the 1.8T for an early 05 C230 Sport Sedan. The engine in that car went belly up...traded that for the new 06 sport sedan...it has less issues...LOL

During the heat wave I passed a car show over in Idaho...well...I saw some Dubs in there and had to stare for a while...The older MKII and MKIII ANNNND some Scirrocos were there

The 16V late 80s models are stupid fast. They're a tin can and weigh next to nothing. I've seen a lot of Scirrocos owners take out the old inline 4 and drop the Jetta 1.8 turbo engine with thousands of dollars in mods. Put the two together and you get a car that will knock your socks off. The power to weight ratio is phenomenal!

Sure they're fast when you do all that to them. But stock it just like any other late 80's four cylinder car.
