PAA Meet date change to Sunday, June 2nd!
Here's an update on the PAA Meet- We have to change the date to Sunday, June 2, 2002. This was necessary for scheduling reasons as well as giving us the use of some of the BMW parking across the street. Time is 10 am to 2 pm. There will be free food and gifts as well as lots of surprises. I hope this works ok for everybody.

That date and time still works for me! 
Now I'll have that much more time to agonize over a stereo system upgrade .....

woulda been nice to know a bit earlier...
plane tickets generally need to be purchased 3 weeks in advance of the travel date in order for best fares...
I already booked my flight, and never got cancellation insurance

can we get a firm confirmation on this date. It works for me, but others that are coming from a far (Astroboy) shouldn't have to keep changing airplane tickets.

Sorry about the change guys- there are many factors involved for us in this and I have to try and meet everybody halfway. Sunday the 2nd is the only time that seems to fit the most for our business, the town, permits, the caterers, tent rentals, and the use of some of the lot space across the street at our BMW store. this is a big and rather expensive deal for us, so we are doing our best to make it good for all concerned. We appreciate the help and support from all our friends here.

well it looks like I might have a meeting up there the first week of June. Maybe I will drive up there if I can get the time off before hand. It all depends on how much preparation I have to do . If I fly up there instead I will still try to make it . It sure would be one long ass drive from Georgia , but I would love it , provided my new tranny makes it .
I will also bring with me some merchandise to raffle off . Maybe some Coca Cola T-shirts and hats.
ONly 896 miles ( well I say only ) . Mapquest says 15 hours. That is less than I thought .

sure, why not, I will be driving right through tenesee and they are all over the place up there. So i can get you what you need. I should have a definte plan in a week or two .

Holy crap...I just checked to see where PAA was...Maywood, NJ!!!
I'm such an idiot...I assumed the PA meant Pennsylvania. Now it looks like I have a 6.5 hour drive. I hope it's worth the long haul.

Park Avenue is a little over an hour North-East for me, but you would probably be staying North up on Route 80 most of the way there.
If you have NAV, plug it in for an exact number.

You guys are lucky, lucky, lucky to be only hours away from PAA. Nothing would stop by from showing up at that meet if I live anywhere from Maine to Ohio to Georgia. 900 is not really that far, I drove from Kansas (two days) and it was well worth it. Unfortunately I can't make it this year but the next time I get a new Acura, if these meets are still going on, I'll be there again (for the 5th annual meet).
