Correction, we do have info on lunch-it's just within the directions. Lunch is at McAlister's Deli.

Also, you might want to edit your info about pics-we will be nowhere near Barton Creek mall while on the drive.

 

I was given that info on the drive.

I see where it says we end of at the Deli, but it wans't mentioned anywhere we were actually stopping there for lunch. I will make the changes to the website to mention that.

Also, Barton Creek mall is a location we might still go for pictures. It may not be on the cruise, but that doesn't mean we can't go afterwards to hang out and take pictures. We will be hard pressed to find another lot to fit all these cars in to take pictures without going to the mall.

Any ideas and schedule changes, please discuss them with Mark (Silver Bullet).

I know a shit ton of parking garages off 360, off Mopac by the river, thats right, a shit ton. So i sugest we do something like that. we can fit all these cars on a parking garage. Just a sugestion. Im gonna be taking some footage for a buddy of mine from Acura-legend.com cause hes making a Acura Documentary, so im planning on getting some stick pod shots along the cruise.

Cool input! We should have some time in the afternoon between the drive and partying on 6th street to collect people/cars to do something.

I'll let you lead that effort and we can discuss before the drive and see who wants to meet up after and do photoshoots.

I also will have a digital video camera and sticky pod in my car videoing our drive.

 

Are you going to hook up with o2 and pmptx coming out of Ft.Worth for the drive down?

 

its kind of tentative if you know what i mean. im sure there will be some pics taken at the original meeting place. so you should at least go there and see how it goes.

 

DALLAS CARAVAN TO AUSTIN - We are going to hook up for the carvan down to Austin starting from Ethan's place.

Plan on being at Ethan's NO LATER THAN 7:00AM!!! We will depart from Ethan's at 7:00am and hook up with the Ft. Worth/Irving/Keller people at the Hillsboro McDonald's (on the east side of I-35 and Corsinana Hwy exit) at 8am.

The remaining trip will be ~2hours so if we leave no later than 8:30 from Hillsboro we should make the starting point, Starbucks parking lot, in Austin by 10:30.

Sweetness, just saw the map of the drive...Im going to use my TX tag to hall some azz back to austin as the end of the route stops right where the Toll road back to Austin starts....BEAUUUUTIFUL.

BTW, possible photo spot, just up the road about 8 miles from the end of the drive in Walburg is a beer garden restaurant that has a parking area next to their outdoor beer garden. I just thought of it as we ate there a few weeks back, and there was a MG and triumph rally there. I still say Barton Creek mall is one fo the best elevated parking lots for a picture with the skyline behind it.

ahhh i wanted to photograph the viper but the other fun toy will do.

I am charging the camera batteries up and plan on filling up all of the memory cards. I will also have another camera nut with me shooting rolling shots. can't wait!!
