February 19th is Presidents day and a Holiday for some. The 17th would be the best time IMHO to have it! 3 day weekend!

Very glad you guys didnt make the trip...the ice may not be the worst part, the weather people omitted the fact that it could flood....and it has. Half of Austin is under water in a lot of spots right now, along with many hill country low water crossings are closed. Not good for CAI driving today. If this stuff stays with all the standing water, when it freezes tomorrow night, we are screwed. Its still hovering around 40 but the main system that hit you guys up north is going to hit us tomorrow and thats when the fun starts.

The 17th sounds good, or the 24th. I guess we'll know by 2-1. I should have some goodies by then.

Although the 17th might be one of the easier weekends for people to plan for, it could be the worst weather-wise. I would imagine that weekend has the greatest chance of unsafe weather since I believe it is the closest one to the exact middle of winter. That being said, fronts and precipitation can't really be predicted this early.

I don't know about you but its a weekend long party, but definitely by Sunday I'm watching it on the big screen at home!

I'd like to see the Saints make it to the Superbowl and win it if they can!

Uh, yeah I'm serious with that. If you didn't want this meet to get postponed again, you'd be voting to avoid the weather, too. I'm no weatherman, but the only clue we have to the weather right now is previous records, which indicate that it's colder toward the middle of winter.

It does not matter when you schedule it, you can never predict the weather that early. It does not matter when either.

17th is good for most it seems, so we will see how it turns out.

Cold is fine! Cars like cold air and when we are done we go inside for some warm or warming drinks! Cold also doesn't affect pics and videos.

the only thing i am worried about is that there wont be as good of a turnout from the other forums like nsxprime, acuralegend, etc. since we canceled last time and had to reschedule. my reason being i dont see much posting going on in here by anymore than us regulars

Thats ok. We'll give it time and get the date finalized. I don't think that canceling an event due to extreme weather conditions will be a deterrent. We pushed it as far as we could until we were sure that the weather was not going to improve.

Its up to us to promote this thing as much as possible after the date is finalized. We need to get into a bi-weekly schedule to recruit more cars. It may be wise to assign a couple of people to each forum to keep the thread updated so that it doesnt lose interest.

Its looking like 2/17 so far.

What's everyone think that has voted on other dates?

Can someone post to the RSX and NSX threads and tell them it's looking like 2/17?

Thank you! I hope they understand why we had to reschedule. Weather was not cooperating, and its been down hill since then.

Oh, I'm sure they do.

Yeah, it was nasty over the weekend. I could not even get my car out of the neighborhood until the ice melted Wednesday afternoon.

I personally think the date needs to be set before the end of the month to give people time to schedule it and take off if needed. Also so we can start to concentrate on other things for this meet.

Grayson, man... how's it going!? Here are a few (click picture to see bigger version):

I can't wait for this crappy weather to end. I have not driven it in almost 2 weeks. I definitely need to check out your Viper next time I see you.
