February 19th is Presidents day and a Holiday for some. The 17th would be the best time IMHO to have it! 3 day weekend!

Thank God...I was all mad that I was going to miss it, cause I wasnt driving through the hill country with that weather coming in. I will vote, but all those days are cool with me.

Very glad you guys didnt make the trip...the ice may not be the worst part, the weather people omitted the fact that it could flood....and it has. Half of Austin is under water in a lot of spots right now, along with many hill country low water crossings are closed. Not good for CAI driving today. If this stuff stays with all the standing water, when it freezes tomorrow night, we are screwed. Its still hovering around 40 but the main system that hit you guys up north is going to hit us tomorrow and thats when the fun starts.

Although the 17th might be one of the easier weekends for people to plan for, it could be the worst weather-wise. I would imagine that weekend has the greatest chance of unsafe weather since I believe it is the closest one to the exact middle of winter. That being said, fronts and precipitation can't really be predicted this early.

I'd like to see the Saints make it to the Superbowl and win it if they can!

17th is good for most it seems, so we will see how it turns out.

the only thing i am worried about is that there wont be as good of a turnout from the other forums like nsxprime, acuralegend, etc. since we canceled last time and had to reschedule. my reason being i dont see much posting going on in here by anymore than us regulars

Thats ok. We'll give it time and get the date finalized. I don't think that canceling an event due to extreme weather conditions will be a deterrent. We pushed it as far as we could until we were sure that the weather was not going to improve.

Its looking like 2/17 so far.
What's everyone think that has voted on other dates?
Can someone post to the RSX and NSX threads and tell them it's looking like 2/17?

Yeah, it was nasty over the weekend. I could not even get my car out of the neighborhood until the ice melted Wednesday afternoon.

I personally think the date needs to be set before the end of the month to give people time to schedule it and take off if needed. Also so we can start to concentrate on other things for this meet.
