Its time to start planning for the next Bay Area Acurazine Meet.

We are just in the Ideas Phase so far and we are deciding on a location but the date will be set for JULY 23rd.

Well, Veen120(raveen) and I are thinking about this location we had in mind. It’s located in Union City, CA (by fremont/hayward). Its called Quarry Lake. It costs 5 bucks to get in. It has a huge parking lot that can accommodate up to 150-200 cars. People go swimming, fishing, picnicking, and boating all that good stuff. Has a nice view of Mt. Hamilton. Anyways, It’s a good spot to have a meet.

It goes down like this...

Either we pay the 5 dollar for parking or.....

We get a few venders (import shops, audio shops, comptech, ect.) charge them a fee to set up tents and sell there stuff we can reserve a spot ($400 bucks) + another 30 if we wanna drink alcohol.

For the BBQ; they have pits so we can use those.

For the Twisties; If anyones has ideas on that please post!

We’re open to ideas and to your guys thoughts/opinions.

Lets make this happen!

what if a couple of people get there real early and get the spot before anyone so we wont all have to pay?

 

there still is a 5 dollar parking fee that the park charges regardless of how early u come

 

im down with it...but does it actually have to b so late...in july...?...y not june eh?...lol...anyways...yea im looking forward to it...hopefully ill get my damn hood in...i think we should spread the word to the other forums...

alright guys...heres how it goes....we dont have to reserve that place.....we can show up....but if both of the tented areas are already reserved...then we have to bbq at other stops that dont have running water and big pits...up to u guys....i can try to get some venders to cover the reservation fee....if they can do that...then were all good...we can reserve it...have power...and no1 else can take that area....so let me know...u guys know of any venders in mind that would like to come....i will try to get a hold of comptech and have them come....

will vedors really come out and cover the reservation fee? I always though that the vendor was going out of his way to come out. I dunno i might be wrong, i dont know how the vendor world works

well...i talked to my bros company...they are down..they said 200 ant nothing....so im guesing, since they are a small company...and comptech and others are big...200 is probally not alot to them as well...think about it....if we get hold of the venders to come..and we tell u guys that they will have this n that...and try to talk them into a group buy for a special item...they will make $$...especialy comptech...for example...if theres a enough people who want to get their exhaust...they can prob lower the price preaty good and still make a good profit out of it...get what im tryin to say?......

 

my shop might be willing to come out and set something up although we are merging with another business the second week in july so i dont know how well the timing of everything will work out. the owner is pretty stressed right now so i wont have a definate answer until probably end of june.

is anyone good friends with owners of a stereo/audio shop? they can come down as a vender and show off there products, give good deals on installs ect.

 

maybe we could get ames audio or juniors car stereo to show up?
