I've never been in a TL before. But, when Julyccc went to buy his TSX, I sat in one and all I can say is "Damnn....". The interior is super nice. It make me feel like my M3 is a neon. I'm dead serious. If you don't believe me, you can come ride in my car at the meet. M3 is loud and noisy as hell.

My ex-girlfriend had a 3 series (not an M3) and the two things I loved about it was the brakes and the firmness of the car, it just felt planted on the road but you're right, the car was a bit noisy. You should sit in a TL on Saturday or go sit in Enigma's car, they did a great job with the TL's interior:

I test drove an 06 6MT and after driving that, I felt like my interior was so plain. The interior on that is awesome, I love the blue lighting on the gauges and the accent lighting shines on the shifter. Overall, just a gorgeous interior. My biggest drawback in getting used to the exterior. There are some things I don't like about it, all of which I could change myself but with the mods I've done to my car so far...I think I'll just end up holding on to it for a while. I've heard many rumors of a Type S coming out in '07. If that's the case I may look into that but we'll see what happens.

i guess ill just put my 2 cents in since not a lot of people listen to me anyway....but

6 speed CL type S....is the best!!!!!!! i test drove it the other day and 1st and 2nd gear is woah! pulls up pretty quick. the automatic type s is nothing compared to the 6speed.

i wonder if the tl 6 speed is the same....i guess ill test drive that too one day just for kicks lol

Rain or shine....the meet is still on.
I always admire girls who drives manual.

I saw this blond chick near Towson, MD with a Manual M3 (black) a while ago. She was really sexy and the car and her compliment each other.

I am looking forward to meeting everyone tomorrw. This is my first meet.

And for once, I'm not going to be the only TSX.

So are you going to join everyone for the drive from Rockville?

haha....not anymore. Just installed new quieter exhaust the other day. Anyone wants to buy a super loud titanium exhaust for e46 m? Also, like everyone is saying, most of those tranny problems are happenning to CLs, TLs and MDXes so I don't think you should be worry. Doubt that TSX uses the same tranny as those cars. Plus, yours is manual. Wooo...totally different mechanics.

Here's the pic of new exhaust, well hope you could tell...lol

Which one, JP? Hey...I just saw a TL Type S on the Rt 50. It looks like Enigma's car but has black rims and body kit. Try to get that!

Here's more picture to enjoy from last M cars meet.

Hey guys, I was just thinking, do you think we should have a backup plan just in case it's raining really hard outside??? Might I suggest that we move at least 1 floor down from the top if it is raining so we can stay nice and dry and see everyones rides at the same time? Let me know what you all think?

Last edited by JPTL-S; 02-04-2006 at 08:29 AM. Reason: Backup plan in case of rain - which looks probable-

Yeah, sounds good to me. We are still supposed to be meeting on the top level but I would imagine it wouldn't be such a bad idea to move down one level if it is raining. So, even though I'm not settuping this thread and I don't mean to step on the toes of those who are...WE ARE MEETING ON THE TOP LEVEL unless it is raining and then we can play that by ear just to get rid of all confusion. If anyone wants to override that, feel free. Just would rather not have any confusion.

ok ok I think I got it. So if it's raining and you don't see everyone up top then just go down one level and everyone should be there.

first impressions, you guys seem like a nice group of people

I dont think I want to goto another meet in tysons though. Mall security was horrible. I've never been disrespected like that by a bunch of rent a cops. Next ones gotta be somewhere else, rockville seems okay, security isnt as annoying. And if you do get kicked out theres a dozen other parking lots to reorganize in.

^^

Unfortunately, this was the worst meet we've ever had thanks to Mall Security and weather. I was actually surprised at the number of people that came out given all the rain. Special thanks to Jeff and his friend for making the long trek from VA Beach, we'll make it up to you bro I promise. Hopefully with the nice weather coming up in the following months, we'll have a turnout like this or better Sorry for the crap meet guys, we'll do it up next time!

No need to apologize...I had a good time. Nice to finally meet everyone and be able to put names to faces. Definitely a great group of people JP, Jon, Theresa, and the guy with the vette (still can't remember his name)...all cool people to hang out with. I look forward to the next meet and I'm trying to talk my girl into coming up but she's not really into cars. Hopefully we can have a day meet once it gets warm!! Thanks again...I had a great time.

Having meets in Maryland, we never have to worry about stupid Mall Security. It was a great turnout! BWImports looks forward to more meets with you all! Just maybe not in VA, or atleast at Tysons Corner Mall.

To the guy in the Silver CL-S lowered, blocking traffic from Rockville to VA, you are the man!
