What about just doing a 495 Cruise??? Everyone hop onto 495 and then take it all the way around to end up where we started... thats about an hour or a hour and a half....

This is kind of tangential, but is anyone interested in another meet in winter to go karting? I went to a place in Dulles for a karting event with my wife's MINI club and had a blast. Its relatively expensive, but definately a lot of fun.
For the MINI event we had teams of 4 do 160laps grand prix style with drivers switching every 15 laps, the best overall time won. If there was enough interest, we could do teams of TSX, TL, and CL members and compete. Just a thought.
The website for that place is: http://www.allsportsgp.com/ . Its indoors, so it might be a good meet for the winter when we can't do much outside.

I might get hammered for this by the mods but Ill try.... FOR THIS MEET ONLY I am looking to sell a BRAND NEW set of Camel Winter OEM floor mats. Never used. Bought then traded for another TL that already had them. I am looking at $75 or so. I didnt want this in Black Market because I dont want to ship them or screw with them. i'm liking to arundel mills but i </3 traffic (and me and lil_turbo and mrs_lil_turbo have seen plenty!!!! with a caravan of 20 cars, its going to suck just cruising around in traffic. me and lil_turbo will scout a few locations soon. remember ppl: WALKIE TALKIES ARE A MUST!!!!

I don think it matters all that much on a sunday. I dont think there will be much Traffic. But i say we take the Direct route so people dont get confused. 495 to 95 to 100. Is the best...i think.
And i dont have any walkie talkies anyways. But i have a Cell Phone...

Like Malayalee king said, We both will take care of the location! This sunday we might take a ride up there, just to see how it is! Also we will look at different other locations as well! Im buying my 10mile walkies next week! Just to let you know, I do work at Circuit City, so I can get them for a discount, but Yall going to have to give me some money in order to do that!

i think our current walkie talkie count is about 6. if we decide to rally up there, we can do teams of cars and maybe we wont need that many walkie talkies. if we're just cruising in a line of cars or as a group (ideal for video) we'd probably only need walkie talkies every N-th car. Anyone with a walkie talkie should be able to remember who's in front of them and the # of cars behind them before the next guy with the walkie talkie.
this method is pretty effective. i don't even know what a quail looks like.

just so you know, the ones that lil_turbo have are brand new in box (well out of the box if the pair is split up). hes got the hookup from work so theyre very well priced.

^ yap, they will work. but believe you me, lil_turbo has a GREAT price! the 10-mile ones were about $40 i think. The 3-mile ones were 17, and the 6-mile ones were 24 i believe (these were all in pairs and NEW IN BOX!).
