Last Meet of the Summer Extravaganza: 9/21, CHICAGO, IL
Hmm.. they updated the meet. Its a one day event now...
:: Details ::
September 21st **SUNDAY ONLY**
10 AM: Meet up at the Adler Planetarium. We will be doing a photoshoot here till 11:30 AM. We are leaving PROMPTLY at 11:30 AM. DO NOT BE LATE.
11:30 AM: Cruise to Busse Woods in Schaumburg.
12:30 PM -5 PM: Arrive at Busse Woods Grove 28. This is located at Golf Rd. and 53/290. Woodfield Lexus will be providing food and beverages for FREE.
Directions:
3801 Golf Rd.
Rolling Meadows, IL

now how come nobody can get fuckin McGrath or Pauly Acura to sponsor a fucking meet?
they make enough money ripping everyone off on their purchases... the least they could do is buy us all some fuckin hot dogs and sodas to make up for it.

i had it out w/arlington acura about body work they did on the car. the dealers are individually owned. acura corp. sided w/the dealer and basically told me to it was my loss. go figure... im still pissed at that..

unless anyone knows somebody at a dealership chances are slim of getting a meet sponsored by acura, or a dealership. i have driven by some meets at local spots and the turn out is not bad, i guess it does not matter who sponsors it if your a gear head.. so lets enjoy the few times we can get together and share a common bond, love for cars, in our case acura tl's...

Just an FYI, AZ meets in IL (at least the 2 that I've been to) are pretty weak compared to a Toyota/Scion dealership sponsored event I went to. Also, most Lexus meets have pretty good turnouts. Granted it was the same weekend as HIN. If we can consistantly have a good turn out, then MAYBE we can begin discussions with a dealership.
ClubLexus has a dedicated subforum for Chicago and many members in that section work at dealerships in the Chicagoland area... makes it a lot easier for them. Also making it easier for them to have successful meets.
Anyway, add your name to the list if you're interested in coming.

i gotta try to get this town going, the last meet i put together here had 8 people and it was the 1st bimmer meet up here.... ever.
i got a reputation to uphold but we'll see, not many people signed up so maybe we'll reschedule.

I guys, I'm a member of another form and got word of this from Rajca a couple days ago... so, I joined this forum (I'm driving a v6 ex-l) and just moved to Chicago so don't know a bunch of people yet... I'd LOVE to come out next weekend with you guys.
