UPDATE 9/17:
For those that attended the last meet, people were getting hungry because the food came very late. This time we are serving the food EARLY at 1 PM. It will be the same delicious food from the last meet! Pulled pork sandwiches, cookies etc... Make sure you get here early. I will not save food for people

Also, if people have games (like bean bags) they want to bring to play, feel free.

---10 AM: Meet up at the Adler Planetarium. We will be doing a photoshoot here till 11:30 AM. We are leaving PROMPTLY at 11:30 AM. DO NOT BE LATE.
---11:30 AM: Cruise to Busse Woods in Schaumburg.
---12:30 PM -5 PM: Arrive at Busse Woods Grove 28. This is located at Golf Rd. and 53/290. Woodfield Lexus will be providing food and beverages for FREE.

For those of you going to the MEET portion... since a Lexus dealership is sponsoring this event (I believe its Woodfield), there will be a raffle and ClubLexus has been generous enough to allow us to take part.

If you chose to register on CL to be eligible for the raffle drawing, most of the stuff is probably gonna be Lexus-specific (duh) but there is a mention of a complimentary clear bra... probably much more too. They seem to have their act together so I doubt anyone who attends will be disappointed.

How long/far of a drive is it from Montrose Harbor to Busse Woods? ...free pulled pork sandwiches sound tempting.

 

theres alot more acuras in the chicago area, i just dont think they know about this meet, i didnt even know until i got pmed...

lol ya i know, i think im the most heavily modified tsx in the chicago area, ive only seen one other modded tsx that just had wheels and a body kit... those being the 2 things that im missing and im set, next spring thou...

 

^Well you should come out to the meet, Im curious to hear what your exhaust setup sounds like in person.

Im considering getting an aftermarket exhaust but Im still undecided, so far Ive focused on aesthetic and suspension mods.

 

Ive met up with a couple modified TSX owners for a photoshoot and some beers before, I'll let you know when we decide to do it again.

You've got me on the exhaust but my TSX had a decent amount of mods on it too and it always seemed like I was the only TSX's to come to meets (before I met Inkedup) and on top of that, the only one that was modded.

People just don't mod um as much cuz the lack of power potential... at least the 07-08's...


oh and the 05 AT's

but even with a comptech s/c kit that fit only some years... you were really only getting 270hp or so and not much torque

People don't check the meets forum enough. IL turnouts are usually pretty shitty and the only people that seem to do anything about it are Rajca and me. We need more people to spread the word... Props to Alex too for rounding up the Legend guys last time.

Theres this one dude with suicide doors and a spoiler!! Would love to see that in person. I think he lives in Niles or something.

does anyone know w.e. happened to that dude that put a turbo in his tsx at the begining of august, said he found a way to manage the ecu? he was out in cali i think

 

that was like 2 yrs ago... i used to PM him all the time to get updates but hadn't heard anything since last winter when he said it was "running" but not well.


check in the meets forum or do a search on turbo TSX and find the guy, PM him for an update
