Hehehe, I don't think any of us are selfish, last time we all had plenty of food. We just have to prepare for it and if we all bring something it's good. We were more than covered last time. If we share we can have more variety of food. BBQ stuff usually comes in bulk how do you bring it for the individual? Think about all the utensils, ice, drinks, etc.

I'll say that the NUMBER 1 problem last time was the grill. Let's try to not rely on the stupid charcoal and picnic fire pits this time. That wasted so much time!!!! It was cold, windy and half wet. It took over an hour to get it hardly going....and it went out several times. 30 minutes grilling and the food was still half raw. Not efficient when you have 50 people.

What we need this time is those of you with those PORTABLE mini gas grills!! That's the ticket!! Someone brought one last time and it worked out WAY better, the only problem is we only had one. We need a bunch of those, maybe 4 or 5 if possible!

honestly, it was tough getting my TL-S at stock height off the ferry.... on was easy, getting off was difficult...

i dunno if they'd let you bring some wooden boards with you to use as ramps

Yeah, New London is the far east, close to RI. Ferry is a smart shortcut! But it still is a bit of a drive the park is on the south coast smack in the middle of long island.
