Ok guys... Nick (AcuraGhost) and I decided it was time for another meet here in the DC Metro area.. We figured that Dave & Busters would be the best place for everyone. Focus of this meet is a small get together with a nice cruise....

Details are below but we are open to cruise ideas... one possibility is to roll out 270... Ideas are welcome....

Here's the scoop...

What: D&B Initial Group Gathering then Cruise Out
Who: Any Azine Members

When: Saturday, August 12th, 2006
Time Frame To Gather Before Cruise Starts: 1200-1300
Time For Cruise To Unknown Place: 1300-1400

Map View: Once the page loads .. click "Bird's Eye" and then it'll show the parking lot on the right side. We should probably meet in the first row closest to the road (355). But we'd have to have a backup/overflow plan B for a place to meet because I know that parking lot gets full a little easy.

Thanks for the update JP. I definitely like to make it out to this one. I've missed the last 2. I will have to talk to the woman and see if she is up to the drive, but I'll let you know soon. I don't think I have anything planned that weekend.

No probs Jeff hope to see you there. The 3Gs are starting to kill us at these meets now If I remember correctly, there were only four 2nd gens at the Fairfax BBQ. I remember the days when the 2nd gens ruled these meets Hope you can make it

Nothing wrong with getting the kids started early! I hope to make this one but I am not sure what I'll be riding up in. No worries, the TL is okay but my girl just bought an '04 Accord Coupe EX and she loves it. White w/ Tan leather. Not a bad car, we've already talked about what mods she'll let me do to it.
So back on topic, we should be able to make it but it's not a definite yet. It all depends on what crazy amount of homework I have that weekend.
Keith, if you haven't already gotten it, there should be something waiting for you when you get home. How are things going over there? Take it easy.

Thanks. 6 Cyl...there's no way I would have let her get the 4 Cyl, but I also wanted to make sure she didn't get something that was faster than my car. She was looking at G35 Coupes for a while, but she decided on the Accord. I definitely like the car.

Ya know, you're right. I was riding in it last night and she got on it from a stop and it took off pretty good. I asked her when we could line them up, she said never, but it will only be a month ot 2. She tried racing me in her Hyundai Elantra so I figure she'll try in this as well. Still on the maybe list for the meet. Are we just meeting at Dave and Busters or are we hanging out there for a while?

Edit:Ahh, just looked at the times again. Looks like there wouldn't be much time to hang out. I'll have to get back to you. Not sure if I want to drive 3 and a half hours up there just to get back in the car and drive some more, although I know it would be fun. And maybe I can get some decent motion pics for you JP.

As for those 7th Gen V6 Accords, they're no joke. I've had one keep up with me before. I was quite surprised to say the least .

I'll second the hang out time. Cruises are fun, but normally end up breaking up. It would be cool to come up and hang out. Hopefully Blitz will be back by then and maybe he can make it. I think maybe if we wanted to chill in the parking lot for a while then head into D&B's for a little bit we would still have plenty of time for the cruise. Just my .

I really hope that her car can't keep up with mine. That was one of the requirements of her getting a new car, she could as long as it was not faster than mine. And she wants mods...I don't know about this, maybe it was a bad idea to get her a car.

so i guess were not going into dave and busters at all???? just meet there and then do a drive...which is cool..but d&b is kind of a cool place to hang out after the drive...get a couple of drinks (we should all be responsible) and play some games...give ppl a chance to really get to know other members.....but thats me...plus if im gonna drive all the way out there im gonna go into d&b...thats a good drive from fair oaks for me....

I agree with you....

It is a meet and some guys want to cruise, some want to go inside.... anyone wants to cruise, go for it... anyone wants to go have a few drinks (ahem... me) then they can do that too...

I'm gonna try to make this and see if I can get some guys from Capital to go. When we do D & B meets we go around back and park on the upper deck and go in to D&B that way. In the same map on the birds eye view you can see the parking deck and the entrace with the blue cover. There is a ton of parking up there and less chance for door dings. Might want to look at doing that instead.....and the cops don't see all the modded cars and hang out waiting for you to leave

Hey Jeff/guys ... decided to update the list real quick before bed, ha. Looking like the meet is coming together pretty nice! Think we should get a tally of who wants to go on a little cruise (any ideas of where to actually cruise to anyone? ) and who wants to just sit by the cars, talk about the cars, and then grab some drinks inside D&B ?
