This is 21 miles (25 min.) from Tysons Mall in VA right off I-66. We'll meet across from the Old Navy store in that shopping center. This will be the "meet and greet" part of the entire meet. Then we'll have the drive to the K-mart (which is right outside of Skyline Drive) to gather everyone up one last time before we enter Skyline.

Yes, as Jeff said, I'll update the list with your 2 additional cars next Sunday (if not before).

Yeah, well usually everyone on the list will not show up, but there definitely will be a good number of people. We have all the meeting points and times set up so that's all organized. The hardest thing will be keeping all of our cars together in one unit. Obviously that will be impossible with traffic, etc. ... but as long as most people listen to the meet coordinators ... it should go smoothly.

I think the simpliest way for people to roll in as fast as possible through the gate at Skyline is to make sure they have their $15 dollars in exact amount. That way the gate person doesn't need to count out change, he/she will just take our money, and send us through the gate, then our whole crew can just gather on the other side of the gate inside Skyline. I'm sure we won't be able to just gather all 60 cars directly on the other side of the gate ... so we'll just post up in the nearest parking lot after the gate .... wait till everyone gets there ... then we'll continue the cruise. Sound good?

I think the idea of the lead car gathering all the funds and then just handing the huge amount to the gate keeper might be a little hard to organize unless I had ALL the cars who paid the 'lead car' directly behind him. Otherwise, people who paid the 'lead car' would just be mixed in with all 60 cars ... and that would cause chaos.

Are there any other plans we need to make before the meet? It's in just 13 days!

Shall I start a seperate list for the people who plan to meet at "Caravan Point A" - Gap/Barnes N' Noble on 355 at 10:00 am leaving at 10:30 am to meet at "Caravan Point B" ? Chime in and I'll add ya to this little list!

Wow, sorry to hear that. I was rear ended a year ago. In my case, it took about a week for Progressive to actually get in touch with their own client and set up an appointment for repair. Furthermore, took another week for them to acquire, prep, and install the new bumper. Hopefully your repair will be much faster. Good luck and sorry to hear about your unfortunate mishap. Hope things work out ok.

Thanks Jeff, my thoughts exactly.

I sent a reminder out to ALL the people on the master list to remind them about the meet. It actually only took like 10 minutes at the most to do!
