Take me off the maybe list and make me a definite for both the meet and the cruise. I also have 2 walkie talkies but not sure of their range. I will bring them but I am not sure of how to program them. My instructions are somewhere in my storage unit as I have just come back from Iraq.

Hey guys, super excited for this Sunday. I can't wait to see all the cars that show up. It's supposed to be fairly nice and clear on Sunday. Just a little info I have that I'd thought I'd pass along. 1. A member of a local car forum says that police have been cracking down on speeding and whatnot along Skyline Drive and surrounding areas, especially at the end of the month. And the VA police are serious about enforcing the no Radar Detectors law. Everybody here seems like respectable car enthusiasts so I don't foresee us having any problems. 2. Apparently, there is another meet/cruise hosted by a local VA shop, at around 11AM. Just throwing that out there. See you all on Sunday!

I had the teg detail done there they do great job. If they can clean my leather seat on that day.
Put me as a go. Dre will be riding with me if he switch days at work.

No, you don't need to sign anything. I'm bringing my Sony 3CCD Sony Video Cam to document so it would be nice to have some "set up" video at Stage 1. Ideally I would like all of the cars in a couple of rows so I can go down the parking lot and get everyone standing with their cars (maybe a squat or stand in front of license plates to hide them because this WILL be posted) and then maybe we could get a bunch to park in a large circle, side by side, nose pointing to center so I could stand in the middle and just do a circle on the tripod. I've seen that done before and it's a pretty cool effect.
While in Skyline I may pick a point and set up on the side of the road and get all of you guys (and gals) going by at bumper height. If we have time to set any of this stuff up it will make for some great memories that everyone can see online.
I may try to mount it in the car for awhile, too, to get some driving. I won't dare mount it on the outside!! And passengers never do a good job holding these things still enough to keep you from chucking when watching it later...

So like I said, I had to pay for them, Im not looking to make any money I just wanna break even. I have 60, they will be $1 each and the max is 2 per car.

Thanks man! I try my best! haha. I just hope no one blames ME for a little chaos with all the cars ... which I think is impossible not to have a little chaos with some many people. I just tried to make all the plans so people could afford to get split up and everyone would have a firm address to meet up at incase we all did get seperated before Skyline, ya know?

phatintegra - Yeah, I use to work at details for a couple years before they switched over to their current owners. They do a good job on my car anytime I go in there ... so that's why I'll take it there 1st thing Sunday morning, ha. Extra freshness!
dmfgrf - That's fine if you wanna document everyone next to their car, etc. (MAKE SURE to re-size all the pics down to 700 x 500 so they'll load in a good amount of time once you post them on here). But what I really suggest is maybe you plan out on paper exactly how you would like everyone set up for the pictures ... because last time it took over 90 minutes to set up one pic with only 1/2 the amount of cars. That took wayyy to long imo. I'm not familiar at all with the area so I don't know if there's ample room for the pics ur looking for .. I'm sure it'll all work out tho!

Thanks man! I try my best! haha. I just hope no one blames ME for a little chaos with all the cars ... which I think is impossible not to have a little chaos with some many people. I just tried to make all the plans so people could afford to get split up and everyone would have a firm address to meet up at incase we all did get seperated before Skyline, ya know?

dmfgrf - That's fine if you wanna document everyone next to their car, etc. (MAKE SURE to re-size all the pics down to 700 x 500 so they'll load in a good amount of time once you post them on here). But what I really suggest is maybe you plan out on paper exactly how you would like everyone set up for the pictures ... because last time it took over 90 minutes to set up one pic with only 1/2 the amount of cars. That took wayyy to long imo. I'm not familiar at all with the area so I don't know if there's ample room for the pics ur looking for .. I'm sure it'll all work out tho!

Yep the car is still in the shop swap is pretty much done but won't be ready from the looks of it so I'll be rolling down with phatintegra. Freind of mines is also coming along to take pics with his SLR, he does great work and you'll like his photo's he's looking to do some rollings shots and still shots at skyline drive it should be fun.

I just noticed this thread and it just so happens that I am visiting my parents in southern MD this weekend and it just so happens that this is on the way home so I will be there with my 2007 TL Type-S (NBP, 6spd, RJ 19" inspyre) . I will do the meet and the cruise.

Just and update for everyone...
I tabulated the attendees and we currently have:
68 cars registered for the meet
65 cars registered for the cruise
When you arrive at the parking lot in Manassas, look for the group and someone should be able to direct you to where to park. We want to keep things organized so we will try to park the like models next to each other.
Also, please have your $15 ready before we leave for the cruise. This will save time because nobody will need to get change.
Looking forward to this on Sunday. Keep your fingers crossed for bright sunny skies.

Ok we have a problem. I jsut found out that there is another car club crew that there having on the same day as Acurazine.
The park goes by car or by person for entry.
