Since I'm moving to Sacramento this late Sept.. I wanted to see if anyone was down for another Summer meet? ..I'll try and think of some locations tonight, but everyones more than welcome to throw out ideas for locations. So c'mon people!!! ..lets try and make this a decent turnout.

You know I'm in, I can't wait to see some new ideas. This was a blast when we did it in the spring with the Honda Tech guys. If I recall correctly we ended up with around twenty or so Acura's, this time we need to get fifty. I am oficially in whenever and where ever. Gotta get this mentioned in the regular forums cause not everybody checks the meet section. I will try to spread the word.

I'm in the Schaumburg area, Woodfield Mall has a ton of lots we could probably use?

 

Woodfield mall could be a possibility but most of the security guards are assholes and will most likely dislike us hosting something there.. There is the forest preserve right by there there off of Higgins Rd. that we could also possibly do..

I suggest the Saturday following labor day which is the 8th. You have to figure that a lot of people will be out of town on the 2nd for labor day.

Just had a mini photoshoot over at the Busse Woods area with a few co-workers and one of my coworkers was pulled over and wrote for everything under the sun...ie tint, front plate, etc...Not looking to have any of that go down again. I think that the Wilson Skate Park is a good location to do this again. Everyone that was there will agree that is an awesome area with zero hassle from the po-po...lol.

There was another Chicago TSX thread in one of the other forums that I will post in to send people looking here. I will also change my sig to show that we have a tentative meet going.

Who wants to take the bull by the horns and send out PM's to all of the folks in the previous Chicago meet thread?

 

I'll talk to the wife-maybe we'll make this one again. Will definatley spend the night-too long of a drive for 1 day.

 

^I agree on the date and location. Wilson Skate Park was a perfect meet location, lots of space and we didnt get harrassed by any cops.

Saturday after labor day is perfect, 'cause I'll be in Vegas on the labor day weekend. The location is good too. Let's see how far we can get with this meet.

I don't know you, but I seen you cruisin by Harlem & Ogden a few weeks back. The only RJ TL I've seen on the streets cruisin. Nice ride man.

 

Busse Woods (Higgins Rd, and I290/53) is a great area to hold this event. Its centrally located and has alot of room.

 

^I would be down for Busse Woods but I dont feel like being harrassed by the cops. I know that meets have been broken up there in the past because of this.


I think we should have the meet at Wilson Skate Park again, there was plenty of space there and we had no problems with the cops what so ever.

I would be in for that weekend, too, if I don't have a job by then. (I'm unemployed right now )

So do we have a set time and place, yet? Oh, and by the way, my TSX has a huge fricken' scrape in the rear bumper from a parking lot hit n' run. So needless to say, it's not exactly in "show" condition, but a meet is always fun anyways. So no fair making fun of my scratched up car.

I'll keep an eye on the thread for more info or PM me. Hope I can make it to just one meet this summer!!

That is awesome. I would love to see some RSX's out. Post up a thread in your forum and see if you can get a bunch of folks out. That would be really cool since Acurazine doesn't reach out to the RSX community.

Damn-just because I'm from Detroit, I came the furthest, and Moderator of the Great Lakes chapter of ACUSA, no PM?! I'm still trying to see if I can afford it, with NOPI ATL the next weekend, $$$ is kinda short. PM me with exact date and time and I will add it to the ACUSA website.

Damn, I'm thinking about shipping my car around the beginning of Sept. so if you guys do set the meet date on the 8th after Labor Day, I probably cannot make it.

But nothings final as of yet so we'll see if I can't work something out.
