CLAC(chicagoland accord club) plans to have a meeting/eating regarding the group and future events, like meets,(nothing serious) january 8th saturday at portillos downers grove 1pm. not really gonna be standing outside and checking out cars. well, unless the weather is decent. come on by,andy, TRU, jay or whoever just to eat or say wassup. u know us.

my cars been in the shop since december 6th. I had to have them redo paintwork 5 times already. Avoid the acura libertyville autobody, they do the worst work. Both my spc kits are worn, and their making me replace them and put them on. The insurance also refuses to give me a new wheel, so im stuck with a refurbished wheel, shitty repair work, and fucked camber kit. been such a frustrating process.
The autobody also siad theyd agree to fix their shotty work, then the next time i went back they didnt even fix it, but this time they even denied that their was a problem, or said that they didnt even work on that area when they did for sure. Thats happened 4 times so far. I didnt knbow shops coul to such shitty work.

that really sucks man. yeah, some shops are shady. i went to one place, they didnt charge me any deductible and i was cool with that. Then a few months later i had got some really bad rock chips. and you could tell how thin the paint was. the hood looked as if it were 5 years old with all that carnage.

it was only a handful of people, more of a meeting than a meet, like i said. but yea. for all u locals, www.chicagolandaccordclub.com is back up. so TRU and Clutch sign back up. Its an local accord forum, but basically, last year we started to include cl's since they have much in common with the accords. then the TL and TSX seem to be invited as well, despite very low numbers. but it was cool regardless.

chicago acurans, keep in mind we want to get a spring break meet in. Stangg172004 wanted to know what was going on, a lot of others want to get one going too. If a lot of people want it, let's do it. I was thinking the weekend of Sunday, March 20th.

anyone who can't make it don't be discouraged, this is just MY recommendation. Any date around there would be great. Remeber, a lot of colleges are doing spring break around that time. My HS has spring break the week of, so I'm good with that, too.

we're trying to get as many Acurians as possible to go to our very own meet. I;m hoping some Nissans, Toyotas, and VW's will be there, too. Check this post out and sign in if you're going to let all of us know. Try getting there, it looks like its gonna be a success
