any of you chicago people ever go to STREET CAR CHAOS on friday nights at US41 in morocco, IN.

i usually go with my hot rods friends and its a great time. maybe we can get a convoy down there some time this summer. the next one is july 16th i believe, and i will most likely be going.

I was only at i meet before, the one at dave and busters, and when i got there it was full of cars, but only 1 cl was there that was completely stock it looked, and the owner was nowere to be seen. I also didn;t like how the bmw owners would only look at other beemers and only talk to the bmw owners so ghey.

i always go up and greet everyone who comes to the meets, dan knows this. I dont want people feeling left out and shit. I hear a turbocharged 4cyl 00 accord sedan is coming 7 hours from michigan. A few of the s/c guys and him plan to go to the track on sunday. Any interest you guys? I beleive its Import Warz at GLD.

so what happened guys? doesnt sound like a good meet if no one has replied yet. i didnt think alot of people were going from the replies around here, and i posted a thread over on the tl board, and not one person replied and i posted over a week from the meet date.

hehe well if you want to know what happened, i went down with my friend. It was atleast a 45 minute drive for me, and i got there at like 2:10 when it was supposed to be at 1. Well to my surprise, there was not even 1 acura in the whole lot. Youd think that even coincidentally someone with an acura would be eating there, but no not even that. All that was there was like 10 older accords, and they all had altezzas except 2. Needless to say we went in and ate, and didn't see anybody and left. What a sad meet/experience. Outta the last 2 chicago "acura" meets ive been to i saw 1 acura total. This chicago acura shit is weak as fuck.

I was there at 1:30. Checked out the cars, saw no other CL's, no one said boo too me so I left.

I am going to try and organize a meet at Steak and Shake on 160th and Harlem on an early Saturday evening in August some time. I guarantee I'll be there with my camera gear and a TL (young, attractive owner) will be there also.

Acura meets used to be pretty good few years ago.

One problem im seeing is why post a meet in the middle of a 8 page thread? Not everyone will read all 8 pages to find the newest meet. Try making a new thread once you get the details of the meet and post that.

yeah, it was pretty sad, but besides the altezza's there were 3 h22a powered cars, one s/c v6, and one turbo sedan, which alot of us got to ride in. I got there late around 2:30. But heres pics from another member.
