I can show u my car and my whole suite of car car products when we get together for the meet. You can then see if you think it is worthwhile to buy the Zymol wax, as they are very expensive.

I myself have been using Zymol for 3 years, ever since I had my 99TL and the effect has been perfect. It would be great if you can see my car after I clean it.

Which body shop are you going to? I had the same thing happened to me when I was driving my 99TL. It was a hit and run and I couldn't catch the guy. I sent it to Sherway's body shop. (They call it 427 something) It did a great job on it. I was very happy with the repaint.

Went to Acura North T.O - their estimator wrote it up...the shop is called Dilawry in Scarborough...almost $500 to refinish the bumper...(I only have a scratch) can you believe it??

And the shit part is that I have to make a claim from my own insurance company who will then go after the bastard who hit me!

On the positive side, I got tint last night, so I am happy.

hey, I bought in oct 00. The reason i got it so cheap is cause my friend was actually looking to buy the car first and had been looking around at different dealerships, comparing quotes. At this same time, my wife and i were also looking at buying a new, less expensive car. We ended up at terrace gate acura one fateful day in oct, just "tagging along". My wife and i started looking at used 97/98/99 cl's, had a good look then saw the 01 type s and never looked back.

So, we asked them to give us a price on two type s. Ended up my buddy dropped out of the deal and we got left with the good deal!!

Got ripped on the financing tho. It's thru the royal bank - "buy back car loan". 9.9% interest YIKES!!!

I saw a 70 year old lady diving this chopped up, badly re-painted, black, 95 integra with our type s emblem the other day.

I figure she was either driving her grandson's car or was taken by a used car salesman(which i think is the case). I swear, when she saw me pull up with her, it seemed like she started to go!!!

That's great for those who want that(which i can respect) but we bought this car partly cause of the tip tronic function. I've driven standard for too long now, never on a really nice car (like ours ) and wifie can't drive stick.

It's great to relaxe and sit back yet still have nuff power to do it in style!!.....and then if you want you can always slide it over to SS....I know it's just not the same as a true stick but it's not to bad.

town and country is real close to me, i go there like once a month just to check out what they put on the showroom.

This guy Majeed, (not the one on this board) used to work at town and country as a Sales Manager, he used to be the Sales Manager of Acura of North Toronto, but he punched his partner and there was a fight..and so on..

he doesnt work there anymore, he left..he told me he was not used to selling 2 cars a week..and so he left, but he says it was a Great job, and he loved being around the BMW's, though he wished that it was more fast paced..

To be honest with you, I could not picture my CL-S without it. Its really great, looks great, and have had NOTHING but good comments about it.

Out of a LOT of people, only a few people did not like the cars black wood trim that came with the car...but once i put the kit on, those few, all FINALLY agreed that it looks really awsome. I want you to know, that the 3 people that did not like it, were a little older, like mid-30's. It was weird that they were all older, though again, once it was on all over, they agreed it looked MUCH better.

Though, other than that, it gets LOTS of compliments, and more importantly, I really like it.

I think its an AGE thing, i think the younger crowd, like it MUCH more that the regular wood color you see, as do i. I just wish i could get the black steering wheel too..

Most likely I'll have my car by July 7, but what time would it be? Cuz thats my birthday and I'd really like to meet other ppl. who own the CL Type S...

Yorkdale sounds cool...I guess it would be more towards the evening. The parking lot usually clears out at around 7pm.
Another idea would be in the IKEA parking lot (Sheppard/Don Mills) - they sometime hold short track races there on the long weekend - but we have to watch out for cops
