TO area TL Meet Sunday Nov 25!
just thought we should start a thread in here...
on A-CL.com this thread is the longest and best on the board...it's nice cuz us locals can discuss all the issues discussed on the board without the clutter, and we can relate it to local pricing etc...
anyone interested in meeting up sometime before the snow is fallen?

ok, anyone got dates that aren't good for them?
I'm thinking of either getting woodbine acura to sponsor the meet in their parking lot, or we could meet somewhere that has an indoor or underground parking garage...that way we can still chat and admire the cars if the weather is crappy...
I think the middle of November should be ok, let me know what you all think

my schedule is good then....right now is crappy 'cause I got midterms, but I don't have finals until December. Plus I still gotta do my web project which is due at the beginning of November. Plus, I'll bring my new TL-S to the meet....assuming the dealer calls back to agree on my dad's final offer *crosses fingers*.

Marko: yeah, I'm totally happy with Acura Woodbine..mind you I'm friends with my salesguy and I only let the head mechanic (Earl) work on my car...
ok, so I'm gonna set something up for mid to end of November...I'll post details here over the weekend as long as I can get it all sorted out by then
there are prolly about 5 or 6 cars that will come from the CL board also

the 3rd and 10th are no good for me 
on the CL board the concensus is the weekend of the 24th...how is that for everyone?

Lets try and set it up for Sunday, November 26th.... I am getting the RSX guys on board too... we can have an all Acura Meet.
Mr TL, the cruising around idea is great! Maybe we should meet at a central location, spend like an hour there, and then crusing yonge street all the way downtown...

well, if we're gonna meet around Yorkdale, we gotta meet before stores close or at least an hour after. Traffic is gonna be murder because all the cars in the mall parking lot are going to leave at about the same time.

umm...good idea...I was thinking around 3pm...sowhere in the Yorkdale area (since this is a central spot for everyone)... We can't have it too late cuz it gets dark by about 5:30...

Sunday, November 25th @ 3pm at the plaza in the North East Corner of Dufferin and Lawrence (See map)...
at 4:30 we will cruise downtown so make sure you have plenty of gas (In your car

hey I bought my used 97 3.2 TL from Acura Woodbine .....so far so good with the service ....just some minor problems that can be worked out. Can u request which mechanic will work on your car?

I was hoping there'd be a meet sometime soon ... I so happen to be going up to T.O. that very weekend (friend's b'day party downtown). Don't know if I can meet up with you fellas but it would be SO COOL to see everyone with their wheels.
Keeping my fingers crossed -- maybe it'll be a late drive for me home if I can make it to the meet.

Count me in! I'm really looking forward to the drive! The last meet was fun, but we didnt get to cruise, which is really nice with lotsa nice cars. Lets pack the streets FULL. Good turn out last time and I would expect more hopefully. See ya there!

Tommy: yeah, you can request who ever you like to work on your car...
I'd go there, and ask to meet Earl, then get him to be the only person who works on your car...he is the only one who has worked on my cars there in the past 2 years...

should be a good sized meet for sure...
