yo i need new brakes and my friend is gonna get me OEM material and stuff he said 190 for front and back brakes and hes gonna put them in and ill throw him like 30 or 40 bucks is that a good price or no..i mean hes usually good he does all the work to my car and he knows my car like the back of his hand of course he has the same exact car except its manual..lol. what u guys think

what is your car, shelly? I understand it's an 07 accord, but what model and options and such? what exactly are you having done? pads, rotors, both?

you can get pads from autozone for front and rear for like $100(top of the line stuff) and installin them is easy.

you can also borrow the tool to compress the pistons from there for free, or at least for a deposit.

lol i need brake pads sorry i shoulda said that from the beginning..haha well u guys will see it when u come ill let u drive u and u tell me what u think i need my car is all fucked up..lol.. its a 2007 Honda Accord Ex-L V6 with navigation top of the line model i got when it came out ..i took it to a place not to long ago they gave me all new brakes and rotors and for some reason the thing that hold the brake in and when u brake it comes down i forgot what its called but i need that replaced as well and i paid 660$ for everything but my brakes are shot alreadii or at least something is when i stop it like shakes or something i cant explain it doesnt stop rite away.

my brakes shake sometimes. It's the rotors, they could be warped. My car used to do that when the brakes get really hot (downhill on big mountains at freeway speed). or it could be that the pads are wearing unevenly.

Does the car shake when you brake from faster speeds? or all the time

yeah could be a warped rotor too, but she said it's the thing that holds the brake in, so I'm leaning towards caliper.

yes it was the caliper i had that replaced in front i think one of them or maybe both calipers in front were replaced..yea when im braking it shakes higher speeds shakes a lil more..dont ask me how the caliper went my car was making a really bad noise one day and i went and got it looked at and they were like ur caliper is broke i was like whaaa.lol that had to get replaced and when i did that they did the rotors and brakes SUPPOSDLY i think they screwed me and just did the caliper..im just gonna blow my car up..lol

don't do that. pay someone to steal it and have them roll it off a cliff or run it into a jersey barrier at like 70 mph.

I think it might be the rotors that are not straight, I doubt that it's an issue with your brake pads.

lol,not a bad idea..i mean i say it but im so kidding i love my car it just never cuts me a break..lol.. i think it needs new brake pads and an alignment and wheel rotation my friend does all that for me so its not to bad its just a pain in the ass. my car hates me i think..lol
