Ok people...I have a dilema , I took a drive for our April 22nd event and planned on passing through Highway 1 (Devil Slide) . Unfortunately the road is closed due to shifting and rain .

I am now at a loss on where can have a nice scenic drive. Higway 92 will be so crowded that it wont be a good idead to go through woodside.

I hope someone here can recommend a good route that will only take an hour and everyone will enjoy.

All I can think of is the Scenic drive through San Francisco.... :theghey: twin peaks... :gheyhug: crooked street, the Presidio, and great highway

Any other suggestions?

Napa is a nice drive...there is a fair amount of tourist traffic although its usually not that bad in the middle of the day

Too far, has to be an hour.... and then you have to pay $5.00 for each car...remember we are going back to Autosport garage. Plus remember last time at Stinson beach...we lost some cars...That was you!!!!!

I guess the human navi will have to chime in....


Let's see here....take Potrero to the top of O'Shaugnessey...go down O'Shaugnessey to Alemany....left on Alemany onto 280 to 101S....exit Bayshore Blvd. Right on Geneva....left on Carter (First stoplight past Cow Palace)....Right on Guadalupe Canyon Parkway at the bottom of the hill it will become East Market.....make a left at Hillside Blvd.....take Hillside Blvd all the way until it becomes Twin Cities Blvd....stay right....it will lead to Linden....make right on Linden....straight down Linden over canal to Victory...I believe you make a right on Victory.

Part Five - Linden to Auto Sport.....

There...hope that helps you visualize the route....it might be slow down O'Shaughnessey...but other than that...everything should be quick...I took care to avoid as much traffic on the weekend as possible....
