Last night, I found out that my presence has been requested (more like required) on Sunday so I won't be there for the full time. I have yet to find out what TIME on Sunday I have to be where I need to be and am going to hopefully be able to swing by for just a short while. Guess the best thing to do would be to take my name off the list - no use having the dealer get an extra lunch because I'm not even sure that I will make it at all, but going to give it the old college try!

NOT the way I wanted to do this.

And, yeah, I'm *still* pretty grumpy about all of this.

I'm drawing a blank on the "where". Places I think of, you'll get run out (shopping centers after hours - not big on downtown after hours <g>) I assume this is an after dark kind of thing.

I was also wondering about one of the parking garages on the plaza - top floor which I think is open air...

I wanted to let you know that I made the certificates for the "Recognition Only" categories this afternoon. They look good, so now we'll actually have a real certificate to hand to people when they win one of the 6 recognition categories.

Toss another shrimp on the barbee... count me in. Nothing special in my garage, but I love my '03 Type-S. I've got a decent Canon DSLR that I'll bring with me for hi-res photos that we can give to Jay Wolfe and whoever wants to post them.

Big thanks to "07-TypeS" for giving me the heads up. We ran into each other in the service dept at Jay Wolfe yesterday while picking up our cars... my courtesy car was an '08 White Diamond TL, which was nice, but he got the '09 TSX to drive for the day. Jay Wolfe is the place to be.

Glad to finally be a part of the family and look forward to seeing everyone's whips.

I drove an '08 WDP TL-P around yesterday for the courtesy car as well. Was in for my B-12 service at Superior Acura. Talk about a hit to the pocket book! I was soooo glad to be back in my car at the end of the day. It did remind me of the stock feel and how much better I like mine. Besides NBP rocks!

There was really bad weather in Gladstone (north of the city) and Independence (east of the city). The first pictures of the storm don't look good. But where Jay Wolfe Acura is located, there was just rain.

I live in Fairway (just off the Plaza a bit), if you couldn't tell by the name, and we really only got rain and wind. They're re-doing the whole city's curbs and streets right now, plus they're putting in zero-entry driveway entries on everyone's drive, so I have a huge whole in my driveway right now and have to park in the street for a few more days until the concrete gets poured and dries. So, needless to say, I was staring out the window at 2am, watching the tree I parked near/under, praying it wouldn't fall.

I watched half of my neighbors tree get ripped down by the wind and almost take our his car... but it's a Jeep Liberty, so I don't think many tears would have been shed... jk.

Looked at the weather report and they're calling for 70 and sunny on Sunday... should be a good time.
