Anyway, it can always be resurrected if something big comes along. Like more people coming out the DFW thread . . . it seems that we add some and then lose some. I guess as long as these cars are just the current fad for most people, and are looking for the next best thing, it'll be a challenge. Other than some of the good ones like ATX and Chops who've hung around even though they don't have a CL or TL anymore.

Only half blonde... so I guess it'd be like a dirty blonde moment.

I'll try to explain... You know how when someone might be telling a story, and another person walks into the room and hears a phrase, but they don't know the context of the phrase, so they look at the crowd with that "what the hell are ya'll talking about kind of expression"

Now, re -read it and think like a 10 year old.

Anyway, I did get to tangle with a couple of victims.

The first was a guy who's son plays with my youngest on a club soccer team. He has 1988 Ferrari 328 GTS. While not to screamer that new Ferraris are, he still thought it would kill my TLS . . . . wrong . . . he had to move out of the way as I crept past him . . . slightly pulling him to 100MPH . . .

The second was some what of an odd duck. A guy in a 2008 Impala SS was being a bit of a turd coming off of east bound LBJ and getting on north bound NDTW . . . he was well ahead of me going in the turn, but I closed on him in the loop . . he then slowed way down to less than 40MPH. I figured he was a no opt and went to pass him on the left as we got on the tollway. Just as I start to pull around him he nails it and I jump on it as well . . . by 85MPH I had passed him and had almost 2 car lengths on him . . . dang . . . I so can't wait until the next track season.

^ this isn't the mark I used to know. he was all about inching down the times with the right lightweight wheel and tire combo rather than springing on headers .

what's this talk about turbo kits now?

Wuzzup Civic?

Well, I can still go with even lighter weight wheels, but they are so pricey that I can just about get a turbo kit for the same price.

I'm gonna run 13s sooner or later . . . sooner is better.

Finally got the car back after 1.5 weeks at the dealership. Hopefully the 4th tranny is a keeper.

Guess the last one hanging aroung for only 7500 miles made them a little suspicious, they tried a solenoid replacement-no good and then ordered the tranny.

Liked the RDX loaner, but no real power. The ergonomics are awesome.

Kirk may be interested in the strut bar too if you have it. I told him I'd give him mine, but I like my car this week.

How have the Tokicos worked out? I'm considering the Tokico Illumina Adjustable shocks.

And so what has your fancy? Bimmer? G37? New Type S?

They've been great! I have the blue's (non adjust) and the ride comfort is not really compromised at all, but then again I've been driving lowered cars for soooo long that I really dont know any different. You'll love the illuminas if you get them, but to be honest if I had to do it all over again I would get the Koni's, ask E he love the hell out of them. The new fancy is RWD and ur first choice, Been my reality "dream" car for a long time now and its time to make it happen since the prices dropped on em..... As Chopsie said MMM, I been in love with that car forever. M3 here I come.
