Can't make the Uconn show... I would if I could. Anyway I still plan on going to LI BBQ we should def setup up a caravan. Im in southwestern CT 10 min from NY border. I-95 is right there i'm sure thats what you northern CT, MA. and RI guys will be traveling on. We'll make it happen...

to you CT guys... easiest way is I95 south, to throgs neck... throgs neck puts you on the cross island, and the cross island ends and splits into 2 parkways... Belt Pkwy WEST, and Southern State EAST.

go east... the park is literally, at the end of the parkway

OR you 95 guys can meet up with us at the Yonkers caravan. It's maybe 5-7 miles out of your way that's all. There's 2 ways to get there.

1) You can take 95S till you get to about Port Chester NY. You'll get the ramp to 287. Take that to Saw Mill River Parkway South and then to Executive Blvd exit.

2) You can take 95S to the exit for New Rochelle, NY. Get on Lincoln Ave then get on Hutchinson Pkwy North take exit 13 Cross Coutry Pkwy West. Jump on Exit 2 Saw Mill Pkwy North and take the Executive Blvd exit.

More cars the merrier.

2 things there is rarely a shortage of is bottled water and beers. If anyone else can supplement on that it would be welcome. You can always take home what we don't use. Bring BBQ utensils too by the way.

I'm from stamford.
Its always more fun driving in a pack, good for flicks too. I can meet anyone traveling down I-95 South at the last rest-stop on 95 in ct. Its right after you pass exit 10, maybe half mile down, cant miss the McDonalds. That rest-stop is like 5-10 min from NY border (with no traffic). So who's coming through that way lets get a list going. Also suggest a good time. Thanks.

Corona does come in cans and so does heineken.

Corona cans are kinda unofficial though, no lime wedged in so it's kinda wack but still good.

Heineken comes in those keg cans, the mini ones or you can get that mini-keg thing. Either way, don't bring the bottles. Could become a big problem.

also, im sure it wouldnt be a problem, but let's all be responsible!! i.e., drinking too much & driving , or burning out , etc.etc... dont want any problems from the park rangers/state troopers. would be pretty cool if we can get this thing going once a a year
