Hey Demos.. i wouldnt worry about the canopy.. there are ALOT of trees with picnic benchs underneath them... plenty of shade available. and on the other side of the parking lot is a beach front, and even basketball courts if any of you guys play ball..

I was thinking I make a secondary meeting point for the guys coming from the Bronx and Westchester.. as well as a starting point for the people coming from Queens. I was thinking that we all meet at Belmont racetrack in the parking lot and then caravan from there. It is right off the Cross Island.. on Hempstead Turnpike and majority of people will be passing it on the way to this meet and you can fill up across the street before we get the caravan going.

Let me know if you guys think this is a good idea.. I will be there as well as some of my guys that arent going to NOPI.. bastards

ye good idea i think that everyone should be their by 11am, meaning they should be gased up and cleaned up before they get to the meet spot, since the drive is about an hr we should leave at 11 sharp. maybe hold off by a few min to wait for some last min ppl otherwise we should leave at 11am

in that case, we should make it 10:00 AM for Westchester Caravan and 10:30 AM for Brooklyn Caravan, so there is a 30-minute wait for gas, and what not.

I like Demos' idea. Westchester caravan meets up with folks in Brooklyn? What do you guys think?

def good plan, so that means we need to be all in time and exchange #'s from each county.
so ppl from up north of bk are taking the (BELT pwky) to (Southern State pkwy) then right?
us from belt pkwy can def meet up w/ ppl from (Cross Island pkwy),

oh we can meet up at the rest stop on Southern State Pkwy(its a little after the beginning of ss pkwy).

i think we will need a leader for each county to round everyone up as well.

I live in the northern part of Brooklyn, so I will be taking the interboro to the GCP to the Cross Island.. The Racetrack is the best place for queens people to meet up and then we could go and all line up in the rest area that is just after the starting of the SS.. (right next to the trooper station.. they will LOVE that..)

Let me know.. And we can get things in order..

I don't know if you will be coming through I-84, you'll probably be taking I-95. You can meet me at Danbury CT or Brewster NY if you or anybody else is coming through I-84. If you are taking I-95 it's probably smarter to meet up at Yonkers and you can join the caravan. I'll be there too. You'd have to leave RI pretty early though
